RepMate ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the RepMate mobile application.

By using RepMate, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Camera & Movement Data

RepMate uses your device camera to perform real-time pose detection and form analysis. Camera feed is processed entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. We do not store, transmit, or share your camera footage or body movement data.

Workout Data

We collect information about your workouts including exercise type, rep counts, set counts, and form scores. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our servers to enable cross-device access and progress tracking.

Account Information

RepMate supports anonymous usage. If you choose not to create an account, we use your device's anonymous identifier to save your data. If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics such as feature interactions and crash reports to improve app performance and user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

To provide real-time AI form analysis and coaching feedback
To track and display your workout history and progress
To personalize your coaching experience based on your goals
To improve app performance and fix bugs
To process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions

Data Storage & Security

Your workout data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. If you enable sync, data is securely transmitted to and stored on our servers using industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL).

Camera data used for pose detection is processed in real-time on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
ElevenLabs — AI voice synthesis for coach feedback (no personal data shared)
Supabase — secure cloud data storage and authentication
Apple Vision Framework — on-device pose detection (no data leaves your device)

In-App Purchases

RepMate offers weekly, monthly, and lifetime subscription plans. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's privacy policy. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Opt out of analytics data collection
Export your workout data at any time

Children's Privacy

RepMate is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of RepMate after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
